There are a ba-jillion resources on the Internet for writers. Some of them might seem repetitive. The trick is to find resources that help YOU write the best you can in YOUR style. But here are a few of my go-to resources that I turn to:
The Story Sensei. She's not blogging here regularly, but author Camy Tang has a great collection in the archives for writers
Author Randy Ingermanson, aka the "Snowflake Guy," has some excellent and FREE writer helps on his web site, Advanced Fiction Writing. Don't let the word "advanced" scare you. Take a look at his Snowflake Method and see if it helps you with your book.
There's also Writer's Digest online. They have a free motivational newsletter with good resources.
Another fun place to hang out is at MyBook Therapy. They have weekly chats throughout the year, and their blog is a good resource for writers too.
I'll add to these. But for now, let's go with this list. Writing is a solitary process. You'll need people to cheer you on and help you remember why you came up with this crazy idea to begin with. That's why the links, and the connections.
